SteamFueled FAQ
Questions about public rank snapshots, player watchlists, developer benchmarks, and curator placement context.
For Players
Using SteamFueled to track games and browse public rank data.
What does SteamFueled track?
SteamFueled tracks public Steam rank signals, game metadata, reviews, tags, prices, and rank movement from completed snapshots.
What does watching a game do?
Watching a game adds it to your dashboard so you can quickly revisit public rank movement and synced Steam metadata.
Is Wishlist Rank an exact wishlist count?
No. Wishlist Rank is a public Steam popularity order. SteamFueled does not claim exact private wishlist totals.
Why is a game missing data?
The game may not be in the latest snapshots yet, or its public Steam metadata may not have been synced. Viewed and watched apps are prioritized for metadata sync.
For Developers
Understanding rank placement, curator pages, and outreach context.
Why did SteamFueled contact us?
Your game likely appeared in rank or curator data that SteamFueled reviews. Outreach is a way to share context, confirm details, or discuss possible coverage.
How do curator pages work?
The top 500 games on a rank page are generally set to Positive reviews. Games below that are usually Informational, while directly covered games typically receive a Positive tag.
Why do only some ranked games appear on curator pages?
Steam curator page limits mean only roughly the top 2000 games can be featured. A game can still be reviewed or covered even if it narrowly misses that range.
How are ranks determined?
Ranks are pulled from public Steam-facing sources and imported curator data. Public rank pages use completed SteamFueled snapshots, while curator and outreach context can use additional imported data.
How often do ranks change?
Curator and outreach rank context is updated about once a month, with no fixed schedule. Public website rank snapshots can update more frequently as automated collectors run.
Can developer or publisher contact details be corrected?
Yes. Use the contact page with the game title, Steam App ID, and preferred contact details so SteamFueled can review the update.
